We have great pride in detailing our most recently awarded Construction & Development Contract to design, construct and furnish and equip 20 Cottages at the renowned SHANGRI-LA RESORT in Wilderness in the Western Cape.

 

SHANGRI-LA is seated on the edge of the Hoekwil Mountains with a king’s view over the jungle.  At the end of a private road, this resort includes, 10 Beautifully Furnished Suites, each compromising of 2 King Size beds and a 10m2 Ensuite with beautiful fixtures and fittings.  They also benefit from a private lounge and dining area, as well as unparalleled views over the vistas.  The Estate includes a heated indoor swimming pool with separate ablutions.  On the outer terrace overlooking the mountains and jungle is an enormous outdoor pool with full services.  

 

The Estate further offers a full Cinema and Gymnasium.  There are numerous seating and hospitality venues throughout.  There is a library adjacent to the plush and beautifully decorated Dining Room for up to 40 people.  There is full A-La-Carte as well as buffet breakfast, lunch and dinners.  A gourmet Chef caters to all requests to suit the requirements of the guests.

 

Other facilities include The Great Room which has a beautiful grand piano.  Every venue facing the gorge and adjacent mountains, benefit to wide opening doors and full balcony terraces.  

 

There are stables, horse-riding and many outdoor venues and scenic walks on this Resort.  An enduring friendship and business Association between the Potgieter’s and the Norman family over the past 15 years, has led to the Contract now at hand in Shangri-La.
